Your Charter Yacht Specialists, Jessica Perraton and Molly Mulder, spent a week in Belize exploring the destination so that we can provide you with the most accurate, first-hand advice and information. We were completely captivated by the blend of awe-inspiring adventure, culture, and wildlife.
We started inland, exploring the lush jungles, caves, and ancient Mayan ruins, providing just a glimpse into Belize's rich history and natural wonders. We visited Placencia, which is a hub for charter yachts in Belize, with its charming coastal village and renowned beach bars, laid-back atmosphere, and vibrant local culture. We inspected the charter bases and yachts, and met with the managers, to provide our clients with first-hand information and advice.
Our adventure continued as we set sail through the azure waters teeming with marine life, and island-hopped our way through the idyllic cayes, exploring the world's largest living barrier reef, all while soaking up the sun, and fascinating culture.
With favorable winds and calm seas, Belize provides ideal conditions. Snorkeling or diving in these pristine waters reveals a kaleidoscope of colorful coral reefs, tropical fish, and other marine creatures like rays and turtles. One of the highlights of a sailing vacation in Belize is visiting remote destinations such as the uninhabited atolls of Turneffe Islands or Glover's Reef. These pristine marine reserves offer unparalleled snorkeling, diving, and fishing experiences.
Evenings on board are spent anchored in tranquil bays, enjoying breathtaking sunsets and stargazing under the clear Caribbean skies. Whether it's relaxing on deck, exploring hidden coves, or indulging in water sports, a yachting vacation in Belize offers the perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and natural beauty, and an unforgettable experience.
