Bareboat Charters

Bare boat chartering offers so much, the minutiae does count, and with this experience we can set you up for a wonderful, bonding and tranquil experience to laugh about for years.  An enjoyable bare boat charter has three key points:

1. Choose a suitable Itinerary for all.  This means sailing the right way and making sure you get to your spots (anchorages) with a reasonable time to explore.  Don’t overpower, know your crew, build their skills and remove stress by being punctual.

2. Pace! Don’t be in a rush.  There’s a lot to see, and it’s all gorgeous. I can’t emphasize this enough.  Enjoy where you are!  Come back for more!

3. Food.  Plan your meals and have at least a few meals on shore. No mess and you help directly with the local economy.  There are provision packages of course, but take some time to enhance your menu.

**** fourth goes without saying and doesn’t need a number:  Be safe!  Of the three, this
can be the dealbreaker.  Know your exit strategy if something goes awry.  I'm a big fan of the
umbrella strategy, then you know what to do.

Finding the right boat will generate better dividends…generally bigger works better
within Captain and crew manageability.

Why not create a flotilla by booking multiple yachts and sailing together!  Multiple yacht charters are a ton of fun and the perfect way to bring friends and family together, whether it's a family reunion or a group of families or couples.

We’d be happy to look at options for your crew.  Contact your Bareboat Specialist, Travis Perraton, for more details.   Travis has been a Captain for over 25 years. His experience has taken him cruising in enchanting Islands both as a professional and a cruiser. These adventures have led himto becoming an avid snorkeler to diver, as well as garnered an appreciation to the localflair yacht travelling has to offer (in moderation).
