Exceptional Crew on Catamaran "Vicarious"

Two couples had a wonderful charter on the Catamaran "Vicarious" in the British Virgin Islands with Captain Austen and Chef Philomena!

"I have to describe our crew as a perfect match for us. They loved adventure, healthy eating and found a great balance between spending time with us and doing their job. I was impressed with how intuitive Austen was in trying to accommodate visits to places that I mentioned in passing that I actually didn't expect him to take us to. Great listener! "

"Austen and Phily were great, and the boat was excellent! We saw a lot of great sights and beaches , they were very in tune to what we were wanting. We would recommend them for anyone that would like a mix of activity/leisure and great food!"

VICARIOUS 48 Feet. (Cat)

Austen and Phlomena are such great to work with, and we love sending our clients to charter with them. They are what we like to call an "above and beyond" crew, that will go that extra mile to offer exceptional service. For example, they provided this detailed suggested itinerary to our guests:

"I want to share with you an itinerary if weather conditions were ideal with links to the places I was speaking about on our call. As you may know by now, all itineraries are adjusted based on what your preferences are and weather :)

Day 1: Pick up around 1pm at the fuel dock at American Yacht Harbor, first thing we do is boat / safety orientation then we sail into the BVI, clear in at Jost Van Dyke, Great Harbor. Spend the first night at Jost, if you want beach bars we can visit White Bay Beach, otherwise we move the boat over to Little Jost so you can visit the bubbly pools and or Sandy Spit. In little jost harbor there are still a couple of fun beach bars, B-line and Foxys Taboo.

Day2: Option to visit Tortola,Short sail over to Cane Garden Bay, see the distillery and / or walk the beach. Come back to the boat for lunch. In the afternoon motor up to Monkey point for a snorkel. Then If you want to see Trellis Bay (Beef Island) we can stop there for the night or if not I'd say we go to long bay. A staging spot for a sail the next day to Anegada.

Day 3: Sail to Anegada. This is only a 13nm sail from Long Bay, with an easterly wind it's a gorgeous 2hr sail. Let's leave earlier in the morning so you have more time in the day there. This is the place to rent scooters, multiple places to rent from with plenty of inventory, no reservations needed. On your scooter ride I recommend visiting, Flash of Beauty, Big Bamboo, Flamingo Look out, Tipsy or Cow Wreck. Aside from beaches Anegada is also known for their lobster dinners so if you want to have a nice dinner off the boat this is a good place for that.

Day 4: Sail to North Sound, but before we get into the harbor I'd like to stop for a snorkel behind Eustasia and have lunch, if it happens to be really calm I'd anchor over here for an hour or so for a snorkel, lots of fan coral. Then in the afternoon we would move the big boat and anchor in north sound over by Saba rock for the rest of the day. Visit Bitter End Yacht Club or Saba Rock. Both are pretty cool places.

Day 5: Sail on down to the Baths for a hike/ swim then have lunch on the boat, in the afternoon keep sailing down to Cooper island where we would spend the night. Cooper has a fantastic snorkel at Cistern point.

Day 6: Sail downwind to Peter island and stop at Key Bay for a snorkel over Willy-T #2, this is the one that sank, later you might visit the floating one, 3rd gen. After a snorkel and lunch we sail on over to the Bight, Norman Island. Here we will keep the boat for the rest of the day, there are many trails for hiking on the island, the caves for snorkeling, the willy-T for some partying etc.

Day 7: Motor on over to the Indians for a snorkel in the morning. It's unlikely that customs cleared us in and out over in Jost so we will likely then need to go to sopers hole to clear out. You all can visit Pussers if you like and I'll be at customs on the other side of the harbor. Next after clearing out we will head over to Cruz Bay STJ to clear back into US waters. We all have to be present at customs in Cruz bay so we all go in, it's a quick process. This evening we can spend in Caneel.

Day 8: I'll be dropping you off in Cow Pet Bay by Dinghy but first in the morning lets go over to Christmas cove for a snorkel. This is also a good place to spend the night so we can make this where we spend night 7 too. Snorkel fish Cay and or get some pizza from Pizza Pi. Cowpet is right across the harbor so in the afternoon when it's time to check into your accommodations I'll take you over to the beach by dinghy, your condo should only be a few steps away from this beach.

Can't wait to have you all on the boat soon. Please let me know if you think of any requests or questions in the meantime."
