7 Night French Polynesia Itinerary
Day One

Cast off from Apooiti Marina, and cruise within the sheltered barrier reef along the scenic coast of Raiatea towards Motu Taoru.  With lush mountainsides, Polynesian temples and ancient petroglyph carved in stones along the coast, it’s easy to see why Raiatea is known as the “Sacret Isle”.  Snorkel the crystal clear waters filled with a kaleidoscope of tropical fish and magnificent corals.  Visit Ofetaro Motu, a picture-perfect island paradise.  Stroll along the pristine shoreline or visit one of the splendid bars or restaurants.  Enjoy a wonderful first night onboard, discovering the night sky of the Southern Hemisphere, and get ready for the adventures to come!

Day Two

After a delicious breakfast and morning snorkel, set off towards Taha’a and tuck into Ha’amene Bay.  Hike into the mountains to enjoy breathtaking views across the South Pacific, and visit the vanilla farms with the incredible aromas.  After lunch, venture to Motu Mahea and enjoy swimming and snorkeling in the pool-like turquoise waters.  Visit the near establishments for cocktails or a dinner ashore, and savor the incredible views as the sun sets into the ocean.

Day Three

Set sail from Ha’amene Bay, skirting along the pristine beaches and isolated bays along the southern coast of Taha’a towards Motu Tautau. Tucked inside the secluded Taha’a lagoon, Motu Tautau faces the lush island of Taha’a on one side and majestic Bora Bora on the other.  The pristine, shallow waters around Motu Tautau are filled with colorful coral reefs and schools of tropical fish.  Snorkel amidst the spectacular array of marine species.

Day Four

Cruise along the beautiful coral reef that surrounds Taha’a towards the Motu To’opua, a tiny islet floating majestically between Bora Bora’s mainland coast and the dramatic coral reef. Dive beneath the shimmering turquoise waters in the ‘valley of eagle rays’ and swim with these majestic creatures.  Dive or snorkel the coral reef that fringes Motu To’opua’s tropical shores, then enjoy a picnic lunch on deck under the golden sun.  Drop anchor and face west to enjoy watching the sun sink over the horizon in an unforgettable display of color.

Day Five

The dreamy island of Bora Bora is just a quick hop from Motu To’opua. With its lush tropical slopes and perfect white sand beaches, encircled by a necklace-like coral reef.  The famous Bora Bora is your perfect get-away-from-it-all and a dream come true. Tiny islets with tropical beaches lapped by turquoise waters are scattered along the reef, while ancient Polynesian temples are hidden in the lush jungles. Dive or snorkle the magnificent reef.  Head ashore and explore the town of Vaitape, where you’ll find a number of cafés, handicraft shops and boutiques, as well as jewellery shops where you can purchase magnificent black pearl jewellery

Day Six

Leave Bora Bora’s lush shores and return to the vanilla-scented isle of Taha’a.  Head for Apu Bay, one of the beautiful bays along Taha’a’s flower petal-shaped southern coast. Visit the nearby black pearl farm and learn how these beautiful stones are grown inside oyster shells.  Take your dinghy to the end of the bay for a stroll along the forested shoreline or visit one of the islandy bars for cocktails.

Day Seven

Apu Bay to Apooiti Marina.

Take in the picture-perfect scenery and snorkel the magnificent coral reefs.  Enjoy a leisurely final cruise from Apu Bay to Apooiti Marina on Raiatea.  Venture ashore for souvenir shopping to find that perfect memento to remind you of the wonderful adventure you had!
